WIRES & CABLES:
How do you run cables and are they hidden?
The wires are routed from the TV through the arms to the wall. The arms hide the wires and built in cable straps secure the wires to the arms.
Can I install cables myself?
Yes. The wall mount arms are designed to allow access for the user to add or remove cables easily. Note: You will likely want 90 degree end adapters for your cables where they connect to the TV.
How do you hide the wires as they run down the wall?
An easy way to hide the wires is to install raceway which conceals and guides the wires down the wall. We offer paintable raceway with an adhesive back that is easy to install and gives a nice finished look.
TV COMPATIBILITY:
What TV can I install in an HV TV mount?
Size: For each mount we give a generic TV size range, such as “for 30” to 32” TVs.” Our mounts are designed to fit any LCD or LED flat-screen TV on the market within those generic TV size ranges will fit.
Type: Any LCD or LED flat-screen television. Plasma TVs are not recommended.
VIEWING ANGLE & DISTANCE: (Flip-Out models)
Is the TV too close?
Based on user feedback we have designed our mounts to extend to the perfect distance and angle for watching TV from bed.
Can I adjust the angle of the TV and the viewing distance?
All of our models have varying degrees of adjustability. For the “Extended Flip-Out” and “Standard Flip-Out” models you can adjust the viewing distance by raising or lowering the mount on the wall. Our “Standard Flip-Out” model has three preset angles to choose from. Because our “Extended Flip-Out” model extends the TV so far out we found that the TV angle adjustment is not needed.
PICTURE FRAMES:
Can I put my own picture in the frame?
Yes. Flexible tabs allow you to remove the back panel and install any picture, canvas, mirror, etc.
Is the frame removable?
Yes.
What does a standard frame come with?
The frame comes with anti-shatter acrylic glass and foam photo backer.
INSTALLATION:
Is the mount easy to install?
Yes. We have designed our mounts so that the bolts are installed first. Then you can hang the mount on the bolts, level the mount, tighten the bolts, and you’re done.
How hard is it to install the TV?
Installing the TV is easy as well. Once the mount is installed simply set the TV in the mount, adjust the rubber holders, and tighten them down to hold the TV in place.
